Onyx, the infamous hardcore hip hop group was formed by 3 schoolmates in the early 90’s and began recording in their basement in Queens, New York. They started unknown, no labels, no co-signs and no connections. When their debut album “BACDAFUCUP” hit, it lit the streets on fire with unique style and delivery that the world had never seen. The album shot up the charts, receiving one of the first platinum certifications for a rap album and was named one of the “100 best albums of all time” by The Source. The breakout hit “Slam!” can still be heard on radio & throughout sports stadiums to this day.

Onyx came from nothing and made it to something with an attitude and drive that cemented them in Hip Hip History forever. DGK is proud to work with the group on the 30 year anniversary of “BACDAFUCUP”.
